The F-Adapters are used to connect Emergency Stops/Emergency Switching-Off pushbuttons according to ISO 13850 or EN 418 from the 3SB3 series to AS-Interface. The F-Adapter has a safety-related AS-Interface slave and is snapped onto the Emergency Stop/Emergency Switching-Off pushbutton from behind. The connection is directly established through the AS-Interface cable. It is addressed via the AS-Interface connections or the integrated addressing socket.
